"Rules" - Points
Every group / club etc. needs some "rules" so do we.
The Samba Canasta Group LeHa concists of friendly persons who just want to have a nice afternoon.

It is very much appreciated by our treasurer Harm if you pay your € 1,- table money before you start playing.

We are a non profit group which is run by Harm who is there almost every week very early to set up the tables so you can start playing when you come in.

Because it is a social club in Spain where everybody is welcome we use English as our common language but we also speak Dutch, a little bit French / German.

THE START OF AN AFTERNOON
1 extra player:
The 1st 4 players who are present make 1 table and and they can start playing.
If there is a 5th player waiting then after playing 2 "hands" the players (on the table with 2 pairs) draw a card and the player with the lowest card swappes with the player waiting and so on.
2 or 3 extra players:
If there are 2 or 3 players waiting they can start playing singles to kill the waiting time and after there are 2 "hands" played (on the table with 2 pairs) they draw a card and the players with the lowest cards swap with the players waiting and so on.
Ideal would be exactly 4, 8, 12 etc. players present but 9 times out of 10 it's 5 or 6 or 9 etc. and that's why we swap so everybody can have some games playing pairs and have a nice afternoon.

The player who draws the lowest card (Ace = High, Wildcard = Redraw) swaps place with the waiting player(s) and after 2 "hands" played the sequence repeats.
The only difference is the the "5th" player does not draw a card the 1st 6 hands because he/she just entered the table.

This happened once:
If it happens that ALL of the 3 (full packs) cards, even the discard pile is empty I made the decicion that:
After the last card(s) is/are played, everybody scores his/her Bonus points, red 3's, Samba's and/or Canasta's and start with a new hand.
The only exception
ONLY in this situation is
NOBODY looses his/her 1 Canasta or Samba and the Red 3's are NOT negative.
Only because this is a very unusuall situation.
